Is that a wolf?? O3O

December 9th, 2012, 8:45 pm

Goodness, that hybrid appears to have much more animal content than the other hybrids we have seen so far. I wonder if that means anything? If she an older model? Newer? Was this intentional? Is there a purpose? So many questions!

I love this comic so much.

Is she a coyote?

the drama

its too heavy. also, needs more graphicness ;3

Why the Tears?

I'm more interested in why; what; or perhaps for whom, is she crying for? And who this Jacob person *was? Sounds to me he was in the same kind of relationship our dear Human Al is in now.

view is quite astonishing. Do not hate me, many many other readers will notice it too. Last panel, ftw!

Taking a step further into the mind of our dear Muggers, eh? And if I can make a guess-timate at the new face, I'd say she is a first generation model worker? Possibly a surviving archetype to the second generation?

Weird vision...
New character...
Intense wolf eye...
Really interesting plot stuff...

@BritMattison: She has that crazy look in her eye... Like she could go off at any moment like an angry canine.

December 10th, 2012, 6:34 am

Smexy Wolf Girl needs to become a regular with an Arc Dedicated to her backstory =3

December 10th, 2012, 12:12 pm

@Saydian: Some how...I get this weird idea, that you may have a bias in play...

;) I wouldn't mind hearing a bit more about her...I'd have to wait and find out more before I called for a whole arc though.

Wonderful job, Kenno! As to the last me, she's nude at the moment, not naked - I like the artistry, and appreciate the beauty, but I don't immediately start thinking sexy thoughts...

December 10th, 2012, 12:13 pm

Mugg's needs a hug. I will be glad to offer that service. Also the canine female. I like the way she looks.

An Eyeful

Panel 8 is fun (especially the the water), but the focus effect in #1 is remarkable (how did you do that?!), and the sequence in 3-4-5 really amazed me. It's art, and everyone sees it differently, but to me it shows that the character may look like a wolf, but those are 100% human emotions in there. I don't see chastised canine body language but emotionally crushed human body language, and the portrayal is fantastic.

December 10th, 2012, 8:12 pm

That is sad... It looks like Wolf Girl is a unrecovereable casualty at this point. Maybe she needed Jacob. Who was Jacob.. Is Jacob still here? Or is he a ghost that will forever haught the story. More... that is what we must know.

December 10th, 2012, 11:29 pm

@Saydian: Agreed

December 12th, 2012, 12:22 am

@the-rippy-one: Maaaaaaybe ^_^

December 12th, 2012, 5:57 am

Dreams like that... are they visions? Messages from beyond? Is it the animal half of Mugger's soul crying out for...

December 12th, 2012, 8:45 pm

This comic is never a disappointment! I love how you keep switching up styles, and absolutely adore the one used in this. <3

... I am so curious. o3o

December 13th, 2012, 1:58 am

The water in that first panel, you sir deserve all my respect. I only wish to HOPE to be able to render water like that.

December 14th, 2012, 6:54 pm

@PangaCrew: Use a blur filter on the background and foreground and a sharpen filter on the midground where you want your focus to simulate the triangulation effect of binocular vision.

December 15th, 2012, 8:17 am

Don't know, never could get comfortable with Mugger. The blank eyes are just too weird. First thing I look for are the eyes (then tits, maybe...*g*). Mugger has "none". Wolf girl on the other hand has plenty. Hope to see her return someday after this flashback. The plot thickens. What started out as a happy "catgirl finds socially challanged geek, lived happily ever after." comic turned into something else.

December 16th, 2012, 7:15 am

man that must have been hard for the fox one and mug's along with the other's that manege to escape losing close friends in an blink of an eye harsh just too sad nice work on this one kenno the art along with the sorrow on this page mix well together

December 16th, 2012, 9:14 am

Thank you for your comments everyone :D i read them all

I just made a copy of the frame, used gaussian blur on it, and then erased with the eraser tool all i didn't want, and presto.

@Leadhead: Thanks for the feedback :D the comic has definetely "grown" from what it was, and i'm glad it did.

@R Reyes: thanks!

Yup. The Coyote-girl certainly looks distinct. Yet somehow still less memorable than Mugger's rack.

And I reckon the thing with her having white eyes is just stylistic.
