Luego de cinco días... hay que ir al baño.

September 10th, 2018, 7:53 pm

What? No cone of shame yet!?

So is this the point where Alpha walks up to Moonie's (seemingly) deathbed and starts blurting out her love for her and how it will now never be? Moonie would then come out of a daze in just that moment where Alpha pours her heart out... [enter cliche twist where the person on the deathbed lives another forty years]

September 10th, 2018, 8:12 pm

Alpha just might be straight-up leaving to live in exile from everyone. I mean if that isn't the look of a broken spirit I don't know what is. She doesn't know who to turn to.

Worse case scenario, Alpha might just commit suicide over this. I mean holy shit. She hasn't said a word since having the news broken to her.

September 10th, 2018, 8:19 pm

Bye Felicia.

September 10th, 2018, 8:53 pm

Good Riddance

When you know you've fucked up so bad, that the art of seppuku is better than life. Go alpha, end your life so that others may be happy.

September 10th, 2018, 9:33 pm

Just waiting...

I'm just waiting for the dam to burst. Waterworks everywhere. I don't know who will cry, or why, but someone is going to and the suspense is absolutely fucking killing me.

September 10th, 2018, 10:29 pm

In the meantime, Pawsy has invented new buttstuff.

September 10th, 2018, 10:31 pm

As someone who deals with a family member who is suicidal on a regular basis... I have to say a few words. Yes, Alpha has screwed up multiple times, and yes someone she cared about almost died because of it. But I don't want Alpha to kill herself. Have her visit Dr. Duerff, anything is better than taking her own life. But, given the situation, and Alpha's lack of support may expediate her decision. However, if Alpha's thinking about leaving, I think she needs to have a chat with the southern den's leader. If not, I am frightened for the hybrids and Alpha. No one deserves this fate.

September 10th, 2018, 10:41 pm

Jesus all these people calling for death. If that happens I won't complain but Alpha doesn't need to kill herself, Christ. She just needs to find some way to work past her freaking issues, because as we have clearly seen, she has a lot of them. Yeah sure the whole murder spree along with needlessly dragging her friend into said issues was pretty fucked up, but most of you are forgetting what made Alpha this way in the first place. Born and raised to be a living weapon, forced to watch as her pack mates and most likely closest friends were slaughtered by red eyes, pretty sure even a pacifist would be left with a murderous outlook on the world at that point.

September 10th, 2018, 10:44 pm

I know they are just fictional characters, but dang some of you are blood thirsty.

I hate what Alpha did and it made me want to punch her but to wish her dead, especially when Moonie has hope of pulling through? Dang people. lol

September 10th, 2018, 10:53 pm

a neat twist would start with alpha deciding that she needs to be far away from her sisters and leaves this group. the twist will be that instead of being alone, she goes to the last place you would imagine, to the junk yard to live with their furry friend... some one that understands her even a little and who she can live with while also slowly dealing with her hatred of humans by being close to one that isn't all human in his own eyes.

September 10th, 2018, 11:10 pm

I was thinking exactly that!

@lazyrain11: wooooo for alternate not killing her plot!

September 10th, 2018, 11:19 pm

@Guest: "Forced to watch as her pack mates and most likely closest friends were slaughtered by red eyes."

So here's the thing. Pack synch. It seems to allow the wolves to feel each other's thoughts, emotions, and sensations. Alpha likely didn't simply WATCH her friends and family die. She literally felt them all die, and possibly still does feel them as dead or dying. An indescribable sensation of pain, rage, indignation, and the unknowable oblivion that follows. Bound to drive even the most stalwart and hardened souls mad. I mean, Moonlight was on the verge of taking her own life from feeling what Alpha was carrying with her. That's how fucked up Alpha is on the inside.

September 11th, 2018, 8:04 am

Really? Suicide? Yeah I get it, tough shit, but a fucking wolf soldier wouldn't even consider the thought of pussying out of life just because of some feelings like most people would nowadays. Hell, I hate Alpha's guts but at least I can appreciate her balls.

September 11th, 2018, 8:49 am

@ledge: You mean balls when she attacked Muggs?

September 11th, 2018, 11:29 am

The small details in the transition leave much to imagination. I really enjoy this comic. Where to, Alpha?

September 11th, 2018, 5:05 pm

The best fictional characters are real...

It says a lot about Kenno's writing that what I originally assumed to be a light hearted sex comic has produced some of the commentary I have read in the past few weeks.

As far as Alpha is concerned, I would like to see someone give Alpha the kind of talking to Mugger gave Deniz, something that would strip away her defenses and make her think about what she needs to do to not be a danger to those around her. It might be interesting to have her speak to Duerf, or somebody like him. Maybe everything she has experienced has wounded her to the point where death is her only refuge. Still, I can't help hoping for redemption.

September 11th, 2018, 5:30 pm

Alpha just needs some lil' puppers and she'll be right as rain.

September 11th, 2018, 6:41 pm

Maybe this'll work

...where death is the only refuge she sees right now. She needs alternatives. She'd need someone who first makes her feel understood. If she doesn't feel understood, she won't open. Force usually triggers rejection.

Duerf doesn't really cut it. Still too much of a preacher. Tony Robbins does it that way:

1: Understand her world. Why does she hurt so much? Make her feel understood and acknowledge her good intentions. Blaming rarely works. She can't grow if she's wrong all the time.

2: Find leverage. What will motivate her enough to want to change? Which of her core values contradict her current choices?

3: Interrupt the habitual pattern. Every time she wants to go the old ways (blame and hatred) throw a ball so she chases it. Or something else that works, but doesn't get yourself killed. With depressed people, making them laugh works great if you can pull it off.

4: Define the problem in solvable terms. This is where motivational interviewing can help. You just nudge her into the right direction with questions and her own conclusions provide the solution. It's really hard to reject your own opinion especially when it starts making sense.

5: Create new ways for her to choose from. Let her find superior alternatives.

6: Condition the new behavior. Make sure the new behavior is now the default reaction.

7: Relate the new choices to her highest needs so that she has no choice but to choose the right way because she wouldn't be true to herself otherwise.

That seems to work pretty well if you know your stuff.
